ATOMA Membership Form

Your ATOMA Advocates are Working to:

  • Provide financial assistance for the Impaired Physician;
  • Provide Scholarships, Student Loans and help in the Osteopathic Research Projects;
  • Assist TOMA in its public relations programs that are designed to assure continued growth, progress and respect for the osteopathic profession;
  • Create better understanding of osteopathic medicine by participating in public health programs in our communities and schools;
  • Studies legislation – at both state and federal levels – that affects the public health, and to take an active part in the legislative process, with our time, our money, and our votes;
  • Encourage participation of its members in community affair, thereby demonstrating the concern of the profession for the welfare of our neighbors;
  • Participate in career guidance in undergraduate schools through the dissemination of up-to-date information concerning osteopathic medicine;
  • Support TOMA’s educational programs that help to tell a positive, factual story about the osteopathic profession and its practitioners;
  • Assist in selection of scholarship applicants for the National Osteopathic Scholarship program;
  • Correlate activities of District Auxiliaries with ATOMA through encouragement and assistance;
  • Provide National AAOA support for nationwide humanitarian projects;
  • Triple ATOMA membership so that we will be three times as effective in our efforts on behalf of the osteopathic profession in Texas.
